Registered Psychotherapist

I take a holistic therapeutic approach that is integrative and based primarily in humanistic, compassion-focused, trauma-informed, and cognitive behavioural therapies. I provide individual counselling to clients ages 18+ for concerns including depression/anxiety, intrusive thoughts, guilt/shame, trauma and attachment, toxic relationships, obsessive compulsive tendencies, and perfectionism. My sessions offer a safe and non-judgemental space to talk, reflect, navigate new life terrain, gain alternative perspective, acquire coping strategies, and become better acquainted with your authentic self.

My academic journey began as a mature student, and includes a masters in counselling psychology, a degree in psychology with a minor in child and family studies, and a diploma in early childhood education. I take a collaborative approach in session as I believe clients are the experts of their lives, and together we devise a treatment plan that works for you and your lifestyle.

In session, we will look at how to support your overall emotional well-being and how to make your daily life a little easier and more manageable. Healing looks different for everyone, and I tailor and specialize treatment to your specific needs. I’m here to listen and support your therapeutic journey, in whatever that might look like for you.

You cannot change the past, but you can learn new ways to respond to it, make meaning of it, and manage the effects it has on your everyday life. I invite you to take that step to see if counselling is right for you at this moment. If you feel like we are the right fit, reach out and book a free consultation.
